The Mount Allison Mounties women's hockey program is proud to announce the signing of Cassie Clarke from the Northern AAA Subway Selects (Pictou County, NS).
Clarke, a defenseman, will join the Mounties after having played for the Selects for the past 3 years in the Nova Scotia Female Midget Hockey League (NSFMHL.) Clarke and her Selects teams had won the Nova Scotia provincial championship each of the past two seasons and were once again playing in the league championship before the season was cut short. Clarke was named an NSFMHL All-star this year. During Clarke's rookie season as a grade 10, the Selects won the Atlantic Championship and represented our region at the Esso Cup.
Prior to joining the Midget AAA Northern Selects Clarke played two season with the Bantam AA Subway Selects, earning provincial silver medals both seasons. Clarke served as team captain during her 2nd season with the Bantam Selects.
