Becoming a Mountie

When you come to Mount Allison to play a varsity sport, you become part of the Mountie family. Our 260 varsity athletes, coaches, athletic therapists, and support staff across our nine varsity teams take care of each other, support each other — and together we are redefining Mounties Athletics.

When you come to Mount Allison as a varsity student-athlete, you will be playing the sport you love at one of Canada's top universities. Mount Allison has been ranked the #1 undergraduate university in Canada by Maclean's magazine more times than any other university. The Mounties family atmosphere extends throughout Mount Allison's small campus of approximately 2,300 students. 

As a Mountie, you will find a unique balance of excellence in the classroom and excellence in your sport of choice. With our Academic Achievement Program, you will get the support you need to find your way academically. We will help get you on the right path and support your efforts throughout your degree.
