Mounties Alum Kenzie Lalonde set to make broadcast history
For five years, Ottawa's Kenzie Lalonde wore number 16 for our very own Mount Allison Mounties women's hockey program. The last couple of season she added a 'C' on the front of her Mounties jersey as she took a leadership role as the team's captain. Over the course of these year, Lalonde became a popular teammate who contributed to our Mounties community in enduring ways.
This weekend, Lalonde will make her mark once again as she becomes the first female ever to do television play by play for a Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) game. Lalonde will call Sunday's game between Halifax and Charlottetown for Eastlink.
