Jasenda Horsman joins Mounties Women’s Basketball program

The Mount Allison Mounties Women's Basketball program is pleased to announce the commitment of Jasenda Horsman. Originally from Truro, NS, Jasenda has recently wrapped up her freshman season with the Dalhousie Tigers. Prior to this, Jasenda led the Cobequid Education Centre Cougars to the 2022 Nova Scotia Division 1 provincial championship title. She also has extensive experience representing Nova Scotia, most recently at the 2022 Canada Games.

 

"I've chosen Mount Allison because I think I'll enjoy being in a smaller community and campus," said Horsman. "I'm excited to play ball and hopefully make some great friendships along the way."

 

"Jasenda represents a significant addition to our program. Her combination of length and athleticism at her position, coupled with her scoring instincts, are going to help us enormously", said Head Coach, Tom Skabar. "We are thrilled that she has chosen to continue her academic and athletic career at MTA".
