Our women's basketball Mounties dropped a hard fought game to the UKC Blue Devils Saturday afternoon.
Second-year standout Abby Miller continued her hot streak by leading the Mounties with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Sophie Trail and Karly Buckingham trailing close behind dropped in another 11 points each plus Trail grabbed 4 rebounds and Buckingham 2. Miramichi's Jill Harris led the Mounties in rebounds, ripping down 8 and making 3 steals.
The UKC Blue Devils' Jenna Bain led them with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
