The UPEI Panthers spoiled the party at Homecoming 2016 for the Mount Allison Mounties Men's Soccer squad at Alumni Field in Sackville, NB defeating their hosts 3-0.
Play was back and forth until 40:50 when Mark Smith scored for UPEI to carry his team to a 1-0 lead at the half.
In the second frame, the visitors added 2 more from Mohammed Jaber and Jeff Moore.
At the Thanksgiving break, the Panthers are 2-4-1 good for 6th while the Mounties drop to 0-6-1 for 10th spot.
The Mounties travel to Halifax on 16 October to face the Dalhousie Tigers in their next outing with a scheduled 3:15pm start.
