The Mount Allison Men's felt the sting of defeat in the opening game of their 2016 season falling 4-0 to the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus on Alumni Field in Sackville, NB.
Moncton scored a pair of goals in each of the first and second halves. Jean-Michel Dako and Jonathan Kalulumia potted markers in the first 45 for a 2-0 lead. Team captain Alexandre Theriault notched a pair in the second to seal the deal for Moncton.
The Mounties travel to Wolfville on Sunday to face the Axemen in a 3:15pm start at Acadia's Raymond Field.
The team's next home stand will be Sunday, September 18 at 3:15pm versus the Cape Breton University Capers.
