Mounties Football Make it to CIS Top 10 Rankings
The Mount Allison football Mounties have been recognized by Canadian football writers with a nod in the CIS Top 10 Rankings. The Mounties, who sit as the 10th ranked team in the country after collecting 34 votes this week, are making an appearance in the CIS Top 10 for the first time since 1998. The Eric Lapointe-led Mounties of 1998 actually opened the season ranked #1 in the country. The Mounties remained in the Top 10 for the entire 1998 season.
