Intramurals
Mount Allison Intramurals provides a competitive and inclusive environment for all students to connect and compete. These activities are open to all current students at Mount Allison University!
***For each sport, students may only play on one team.
Current intramural sports include:
Soccer
Flag Football
Hockey
Volleyball
Basketball (Men’s and Women’s divisions)
Most teams will register as a group; however, free agents and individuals are able to sign up on their own. Each residence will create their own team in each league with some of the smaller houses combining to ensure they have a full team.
Mount Allison invites you to come and join the fun, make it part of your university experience! Intramurals provide a relief from the stress and strain of daily academic commitments, the opportunity to develop or maintain personal fitness and well-being, as well as the chance to meet new friends.
How to get involved
- Contact your intramural representative
Each residence has a representative selected at the start of each year. This person is your contact and your communication link for everything intramurals. - Register/join your team on IMLeagues
Visit the IMLeagues platform to register or join your team for the upcoming season. - Register as a free agent
If you do not have a team to play on, contact the captains of other teams, register as a free agent, or contact us at intramurals@mta.ca.
Registering
Each team or individual entering a league must register via imleagues.com/mta. All participants must be registered on the site to participate. Deadlines are posted for each individual sports.
Registration procedures
Intramural representatives/team captains may make changes and additions to their roster until the posted deadlines.
League size limits
Due to the increased enrollment, increased number of off-campus teams, and the limited facility times, there will be occasions when it will be necessary to put a limit on the number of teams that can be registered. Normally, this will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
