Mount Allison Mounties Women's Soccer program is pleased to announce new recruits

The Mount Allison Mounties Women's Soccer program is pleased to announce the commitments of three key players from the West Ottawa Soccer Club, of the top-tiered Ontario Youth Soccer League (OYSL): Amanda Piltzmaker, Audrey Ward, and Morgan Lundin will all be joining the Mounties for the 2017 season.

Morgan Lundin

A leader in the midfield, Morgan finished as West Ottawa’s top regular season goal scorer last summer, and helped lead the team to success in both Canadian and U.S. tournaments including winning gold in the Disney Showcase tournament in 2016.  Prior to joining the West Ottawa club, Morgan played for the Cumberland United Soccer Club (also of the OYSL), where she was the team captain.  On top of her success and leadership on the field, she is also involved in soccer and sport at the grassroots level, coaching youth soccer and volleyball in her community.

Audrey Ward

A versatile player, Audrey has also contributed to West Ottawa’s league and tournament successes over the past two years. Prior to joining the West Ottawa club, Audrey was a team captain with Nepean Hotspurs, where she was also the leading scorer - as she is for her high school team, averaging over 2 goals per game. Audrey has also coached soccer at various age groups, and is a regular volunteer within her community.

Amanda Piltzmaker

Amanda is a tenacious attacking player who is repeatedly among her teams’ top goal scorers. Amanda has helped lead Ottawa West to numerous tournament and showcase wins, and this past fall was scouted for the Ontario Canada games training camp.  She is also the captain of her high school team and is involved in soccer and sport at the grassroots level, coaching both soccer and gymnastics.
