Mounties MBB win over the UNBSJ Seawolves

The Mount Allison Mounties remain in first place in the ACAA in men's basketball with their 96-70 win over the UNBSJ Seawolves on Saturday. The Mounties used a 53 point outburst in the second half to defeat the Seawolves on their home court.

The Mounties were led by Thomas LeGallais 30 point performance. Brad Sanford added 16, and Rod Joseph had 13 to pace the Mounties who are now 9-1 in ACAA league play. Jacob Vickers had 15 points and Keegan Gray added 14 points for the Seawolves who trailed 41-33 at half.

The Mounties will now travel to Moncton Wednesday to face their arch rivals Crandall Chargers, now 8-2, in an 8:00pm start.
