Previous to Balmoral Hall, Zak played with the Shaftesbury Titans Midget Prep team. She actually began playing with the program as a 13 year old after having received a letter of exceptional status from Hockey Manitoba allowing her play.  During this time, Zak also played in the National Aboriginal Hockey Championship (NAHC) for Team Manitoba. In 2016-2017, Zak was named the MVP of the gold medal game as she led Manitoba to a gold medal win.

"We are really proud to welcome Bianca to our Mounties women's hockey program," commented Pierre Arsenault, Director of Athletics and Recreation at Mount Allison. "Bianca brings a great background for the game and a desire to compete that should really help drive our program during her years with us."
