Mounties men's soccer welcome new recruits

The Mount Allison Mounties men's soccer program is pleased to announce three new recruits for the 2018 season.  Mounties Coach George Jenkins is pleased to announce the following new Mounties:

CODY KROCZYNSKI

Mount Allison Men’s Varsity Soccer Program would like to introduce Cody Kroczynski who is a Prairie boy, born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan and is the third oldest in a family of 4 boys. He has played soccer from the age of 4, participating in local Club, Tournament, High School, Provincial and Regional Competitions. Cody has also attended the TOVO training camp in 2016 and TOVO residency programs in September-December 2017 in Barcelona, Spain. During his time with TOVO Cody has obtained his T1 Coaching certification and has coached youth soccer in Regina, Saskatchewan for past 3 years. He is also currently a member of Falcons Soccer Club Men's division. Cody’s academic interests include psychology and computer science.

Coach Jenkins comments: "We are looking forward to what Cody can to bring to the program and welcome him to the Mountie Family."

ALEX BENNETT

Alex comes to Mount Allison University from the small village of Falmouth, Nova Scotia. His career in soccer started at the age of two and he has continued playing ever since. Alex has played for both Valley United SC and Horton High School’s Division 1 Team. He has also had the responsibility of captaining both Teams. Alex has also been involved with other clubs and activities such as, Student Council and Respect for Diversity. These activities involve teaching the younger students the importance of respecting all peoples and healthy relationships along with multiple other activities. Alex is registered in the Business Program and plans to minor in Computer Science.

Coach Jenkins comments: "We are looking forward to the leadership and playing skills that Alex brings to the Men’s Soccer Program and welcome him to the Mountie Family."

WYATT ANSEL

Wyatt comes to us from Brockton Massachusetts and is considering International Relations as his chosen course of studies. He attended Cardinal Spellman High School in Brockton, Massachusetts and was the recipient of the 2016 Catholic Central League All Star Award his junior year. Wyatt has also played for Explosion FC out of Attleboro, Mass and competitive soccer for the Brockton Soccer Association. He also participated in track for 3 seasons and won Boston Globe All Scholastic for indoor track in 2016. Wyatt was a member of National Honor Society in High School for three years and had a 3.97 GPA.

Coach Jenkins comments: "We are looking forward to welcoming Wyatt to the Mounties family and the experience he will bring to the Men’s Varsity Soccer Program."
