Karen Arsenault is a certified Personal Training Specialist, Fitness Instructor Specialist and Group Fitness Coordinator at Mount Allison. Karen has been a fitness instructor for 22 years and she has worked all across the country with different groups, teams, facilities and age/fitness demographics.
During her 7 years with the Mountie Pride team so far, Karen may be best known for her popular Athletic Cardio classes or as the woman who first brought Zumba to campus. Nowadays, Karen can still be found in the Group Fitness Studio teaching Athletic Cardio or Strength Training Rx. In addition to running the group fitness drop in classes, Karen has also developed and continues to instruct FitnessCamp and Shred, two personal training groups that will reach the impressive milestone this year of having been run 30 times. Karen has helped several clients with programming both in and around the weight room at the Fitness Centre and Athletic Centre. She has worked with Mountie Varsity teams and helped develop a Mountie Circuit for a few of the university residences.
Through all of her programs Karen aims to educate about health, wellness and physical abilities. Karen has a passion for helping others develop feelings of success, pride and confidence in one’s own abilities. Karen believes that understanding and respecting the control you have over your own healthy lifestyle, empowers you to make healthier choices in all of life’s journeys.
Karen is available for one on one personal training services, private group training or presentations and she is excited to help you achieve success.
