Mount Allison University’s Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce that Marcel Dupuis has been named to the position of Manager, Athletics.
Dupuis, who graduated from Mount Allison with a bachelor of commerce degree in 2013, brings several years of sport administration experience with him to the Manager, Athletics position. Most notably, Dupuis spent seven years working with the Okotoks Dawgs baseball club of the Western Major Baseball League, ultimately working as Operations Manager for the team. Dupuis has also spent time working as a business analyst at NB Power and he will transition from his current role as Admissions Counsellor at Mount Allison. Specific to the Mounties Athletics, Dupuis spent 4 years as Director of Football Operations while also working on various departmental projects.
As Manager, Athletics, Dupuis will be responsible for business operations for the department of Athletics and Recreation. Dupuis will coordinate all varsity and club team travel and equipment needs. Marcel will also take on responsibilities around game day execution for Mounties’ varsity home games. In addition, Dupuis will be responsible for Mount Allison’s intramurals program, a program celebrated for having amongst the highest participation rates in the country.
