REGISTRATION PROTOCOLS - GROUP FITNESS

  • Group fitness classes are open to the following participants:
    • Current MTA students, faculty and staff with a membership; as well as, our members of the public with a current fitness centre memberships.
    • Day passes are not accepted at this time.
  • There will be a maximum of 10 participants and 1 instructor per class, to ensure everyone's safety with proper distancing.
  • Participants must register for a class by emailing fitnessclassbooking@gmail.com .
    • Requests made through any other method, including our social media pages, will not be accepted.
    • Drop-ins are not acceptable at this time.
    • Registration for classes takes place on a weekly basis. The window to register opens at 8am Thursday for the following calendar week only. You must ensure that you have registered for a class by 8am the day prior to your intended class.
    • Participants will be permitted to register for as many classes as they like within the same calendar week. However, you will not be given a spot in a selected class if it is already full.
    • You will be sent an email confirmation indicating wether you have a spot in class or if the requested class is full. Email confirmations will be sent during regular working hours (not on evenings or weekends). All effort will be made to respond in a timely manner either the following day or on Monday (for requests received on the weekend).
  • Please only register for the class(es) you intend to attend so you don’t take a spot away from another. We will not be be keeping a waiting list.
  • In the event that you cannot attend your scheduled class, you must contact the email above so that instructors are aware.

PARTICIPATION PROTOCOLS FOR GROUP FITNESS

Group fitness participants follow the same user protocols as the fitness centre . ALL users of the facility are required to read through the fitness centre protocols found here: Group Fitness Protocols

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we trywork our way back to a complete group fitness program.

COST

Great news, all group fitness classes are included in membership fees.

 

Note:

  • If you do not have a Mount Allison Fitness Membership then participation is also available for a drop-in fee paid at the FC.
  • Fitness Camps and Shred Programs are a separate fee based programs providing a more individualized approach to group exercise and training.
  • Pre-registration is required.                       
  • BYOM - Bring Your Own Mat.
  • All classes are held at the Wallace McCain Student Centre lower level - Fitness Studio.
  • These specialized group personal training programs vary throughout the year.
